Finally got confirmation that all the equipment has arrived safely and ready for me to check out on Thursday when I arrive.

Putting the final bits and pieces together
The next two projects we will be working with are:

Old MacDonald's Farm is a project set up to look after and support children who have either lived on the streets or are orphans. It is situated in the outskirts of Lusaka in the Ibex Hill area. They have around 25 boys living with them and support over 30 children in and around Lusaka to go to school while living at home.  Don and Christine are very excited at the prospect of bringing them some laptops for the boys to use to help with homework and other learning of IT skills.

The BIGOCA school in Matero Compound is run in an old Tavern which is owned by the Church along with a good sized piece of land where they hope to build a new school. It will be great to meet Bishop Peter again.

The school targets orphans, and vulnerable children and undertakes a feeding programme so each child is fed each day at school. They continue to support children through the church once they have passed Grade 7 and have helped former street children to gain places and be funded at University and have supported others through pastor college.

The school here takes the children from Preschool to Grade 7 and some classes share the same room which makes learning very difficult.  There are 3 teachers but none are particularly IT literate, however, they have people in the church with the right skills to volunteer to help with the computers in the school.
